Bed and Breakfast in Jakarta (Pondok Indah/TB Simatupang)

The Maritim Guest House in Jakarta, in the category of bed and breakfast inn, is appreciatively considered one of the best in Jakarta. We always try our best to make our guests feel welcome and well cared for. We are thankful to our guests who have shared wonderful remarks (listed below) about our guest house. Additionally, the new toll road opened (August 2014) making travel time from the airport to guest house faster than ever.   And now, the new MRT train line is now open for those needing to go into the main business district of Jakarta and beyond.  Our guest house is a 10-minute walk to the nearest station (Cipete Raya) and it takes 20 minutes to reach the centre of Jakarta! We can arrange a quick motorbike ride to the station if you so wish.

Business travellers and tourists alike enjoy staying with us. Lady travellers feel particularly safe and happy in our hassle-free and secure environment. For the busy business traveller, we understand the importance of a well-functioning WiFi connection; of serving breakfast on time; of having taxis ready for timely departures, to help to make their business trip a success.

For our leisure travellers, they feel cared for in a calm and friendly environment where they have more time to savour our homecooked breakfast which includes eggs to order, our popular homemade baked breads and cakes, cut local fruit and our freshly brewed smooth and well-liked local coffee. If an Indonesian breakfast is preferred, we do prepare nasi or mie goreng (fried local red rice with egg or fried noodles).

Guests look forward to our tasty Indonesian dinners prepared by our Javanese cook offered for an additional Rp100,000 nett.

A run on the treadmill will help to relieve the stresses or indulgences of the day. Many times guests even meet other guests to share experiences and have good talks together.

Our comfortable bedrooms within our secure walled compound are waiting for you. Our guest house is a well-maintained single story establishment. After a long day of travel or work, there is no need to climb steps to an upper story bedroom.

Enjoying meals at the house takes one worry out of the day regarding where and what to eat. We would like you to experience Indonesian cuisine and so dinners are offered just as the locals would enjoy it with adjustments made relating your preferences relating to spiciness.

We are located in South Jakarta off of busy Jalan (Avenue) Fatmawati. Our staff can assist in obtaining Grab cars (Uber) or taxis for you. Our location is ten minutes by taxi to Cilandak Town Square Mall (Citos) and fifteen minutes to Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) where finer restaurants and cafes, as well as the usual fast food outlets, abound. TB Simpatupang business district is an easy ten minutes away. We are a two-minute walk to Wisma Subud and The British Institute. The Jakarta International School is five minutes away by car or 15 minutes on foot.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, our guest house is a non-smoking establishment. Smoking is only allowed outdoors on our front terrace or in the garden area.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Maritim Guest House.
